1. Check if the reducer oil tank, high-pressure pump oil level, and emulsion tank water level are within the specified range.
2. Check if the safety valve, pressure gauge, electrical contact pressure gauge, water level gauge, and liquid level indicator are sensitive and accurate. Pressure gauges and safety valves should be calibrated annually. Safety valves should undergo periodic venting tests to prevent valve core sticking and valve orifice blockage.
3. Check all parts of the water pump, valves, solenoid valves, and pipelines for proper functioning. There should be no leaks of water, air, or oil. Check if the electrical grounding wire is secure and reliable. If the pump has been stopped for more than one week, measure the insulation of the main motor. Check if the communication signal with the hydraulic press is correct and reliable.
4. Pump start-up sequence:
(1) Check that all valves, suction valves, and circulation gate valves on the pump, water storage (air) tank, and pipeline are in the open position. Open the vent valve on the high-pressure pump head and the cooling water valve on the lubricating oil pump.
(2) Start the lubricating oil pump and run it for 1-2 minutes until the oil pressure is between 0.15 and 0.2 MPa. After the lubricating oil indicator light shows normal operation, start the main motor of the high-pressure pump.
(3) After the air in the pump head is exhausted, immediately close the vent valve.
(4) After the high-pressure pump is running normally, turn on the power supply to the circulation valve solenoid and plug in the pressure testing power plug. After the water level rises to level 4 or above, turn on the solenoid switch of the minimum liquid level valve. When the water level rises to level 7 (or a "can work" signal can be sent in advance depending on the pump room design), send a "can work" signal to the water press, and the water press will start working.
5. When opening and closing valves, stand to the side of the valve stem and rotate slowly.
6. During operation, personnel must not leave their posts and must closely monitor the control instruments and water level indicator lights to ensure they are functioning properly. If a false water level is detected, immediate action should be taken. A full inspection of all equipment should be conducted every 10-15 minutes, and operating conditions should be recorded hourly. Oil temperature and bearing temperature must not exceed 50℃, emulsion temperature must not exceed 60℃, cooling water temperature must not exceed 40℃, and motor temperature must not exceed the rated temperature rise.
7. If overpressure is detected, immediately unplug the pressure testing plug and disconnect the main power supply. Once the water level has returned to normal, notify the hydraulic press to stop operating. Operation can only resume after repairs have been completed and normal operation restored.
8. Use soapy water to check for leaks in the water (gas) tank, gas valve, and gas pipes. Condensation or frost indicates a serious leak and should be repaired immediately. Open flames are prohibited for defrosting.
