The electronic control system serves as the control hub for the vehicle's electrical equipment, managing the operation of components such as the drive motor, energy storage system, and auxiliary electrical devices.

 

1. Drive Motor Controller: The drive motor controller is the core of the electric vehicle's electronic control system. Its primary function is to control the operation of the drive motor based on information such as the vehicle's driving state (e.g., acceleration, deceleration, cruising, reversing), the driver's intentions (e.g., accelerator or brake pedal inputs), and the battery's operating status.

 

2. Battery Management System (BMS): The primary function of the BMS is to monitor and manage battery parameters-such as charging and discharging, temperature, and overall status-to ensure the battery's safety, reliability, and longevity.

 

3. On-board Charger and Charging Port: The primary function of the on-board charger is to convert external alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) to charge the battery. The charging port serves as the connection point between the on-board charger and external charging equipment.

 

4. Other Auxiliary Control Equipment: Examples include traction battery preheating systems, motor cooling systems, electric air conditioning, and electric power steering.
