During the operation of a high-pressure pump, air can become trapped in the liquid, forming bubbles. These bubbles impair the pump's suction, leading to unstable flow or even damage to the seals. Much like a runner getting a stitch in their side, a pump requires smooth "breathing" to perform optimally.
Preparation: Turn off the power and ensure the pump has come to a complete stop. Locate the air vent valve at the highest point of the pump housing-usually near the outlet or on top of the pump casing.
Venting Process: Slowly open the vent valve while observing the escaping liquid. Once the liquid flows out continuously without bubbles, the air has been fully purged.
Final Check: After closing the vent valve, it is recommended to start the pump at a low speed; verify smooth operation before returning to normal working pressure.
