We use forged steel for the pump body. No cast iron. The five plungers run in hardened cylinders. We chose a 19.3 mm diameter to balance strength and flow. The result is a pump that runs smoothly even at 3000 bar. Vibration is lower than many three-plunger pumps because the pulsation is smaller.
